Day Three Losar Celebration

According to Lama Pasang the third day of the new year is another very sacred day to practice and celebrate Losar.  We will do the the practice listed below and after practice gather for a “pot luck” lunch to celebrate Losar together.  Many practitioners may be following a vegetarian diet at this time so vegetarian dishes would be most welcome.  We hope to see many of you who could not come during the week take advantage of the opportunity to practice and enjoy lunch with us on Saturday.  During the Ladrup Tiglei Gyachen section those of us who have the empowerment will chant while others sit quietly during this part of the practice.  All are welcome.  The Temple will be open at 10 a.m. so you can bring your pot luck dish before practice and settle in for the start at 11 a.m.

Here is the practice schedule for Losar:
8 Auspicious 3 x
7 Branch Offering and Bodhisattva Vows
Ladrup Tiglei Gyachen with section from Riwo Sangcho -no tsog
Amitayus Long Life Prayers
Swift Rebirth Prayer for H.H. Pema Norbu
Long Life Prayers and Dedication
