Ohio Temple Plans for Anniversary Parinirvana of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche

Come join us to honor the Parinirvana of our beloved Holiness Penor Rinpoche. We will be doing the following practices as instructed by our Spiritual Director, Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche.

Vajrasattva practice
100 Deity practice with tsog- please bring a food offering
Guru Yoga Practice and accumulations of His Holiness’ Swift Rebirth Prayers.

Our Practice Schedule will done on the following days:

Tuesday evening, March 16,2010 7PM
Wednesday, March 17,2010 10AM
Thursday, March 18,2010 10AM

We have just received wonderful news that Tulku Ogyen will be coming to our Ohio Temple Feb. 19th to 25th, 2010 to give a Vajravarahi Empowerment and teachings as well as other Buddhist teachings.

Our Temple’s public talk with Rinpoche is cancelled due to the current snowstorm and difficult driving conditions.

Morning Dzogchen Saturday Feb 13th teachings cancelled

Due to the snow storm and difficult driving conditions, Rinpoche has cancelled the morning session.. We will plan to meet at 2pm for continuing Buddhahood Without Meditation.

Khenchen to give transmission of the Ngondro

Our Spiritual Director will be giving the transmission for the Ngondro during our Tuesday 7pm evening session February 9th for all those newcomers who wish to begin the Foundational practices of Tibetan Buddhism.

Our beloved Spiritual Director, Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche, returns to Ohio to continue teaching Buddhahood Without Meditation as well as having an event for children. Rinpoche will also teach a session on how to meditate, so this is a wonderful opportunity for newcomers.

Dragmar Tulku will do Shakyamuni Puja for Haiti earthquake

Tulku announced today we will add an additional session to our program which will be on Tuesday evening, January 19th, 2010 at 7pm. All are invited to attend a Shakyamuni puja as well as do rounds of Amitabha, Medicine Buddha and Chenrezig mantras for the victims of the devastating earthquake that recently occurred in Haiti. Shakyamuni texts will be available for those who wish to participate in this event.
