Friday June 8, 2012 Palyul Ohio will hold a Benefit and Silent Auction at the Yellow Tail Japanese Restaurant in Akron. This event is being held to raise money to repair the temple roof. Below are some of the Items that we are planning to sell at the auction.

One of a kind, Mani Stone hand carved by the 10th Bhakha Rinpoche, Tulku Orgyen Phuntsok’s Uncle, in 1992 (8.5″ x 3.5″ x 1.75″). The Bhakha Tulkus have been considered as the incarnations of Dorje Lingpa, who was considered an emanation of Vairotsana, primary holder of the lineage of Rigdzin Pema Lingpa, and Shikpo Lingpa. He studied at Mindroling in Tibet, and later at the school for young tulkus in Dalhousie, India. He has received many teachings from great masters including Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and Dodrupchen Rinpoche. He also holds the Dzogchen lineage of the Namchö tradition, the Longchen Nyingtik and the Chetsün Nyingtik. He received Dudjom Tersar, Rinchen Terdzö and many other teachings from Dudjom Rinpoche, whom he served for a number of years. He has also served and received transmissions from Penor Rinpoche and Chatral Rinpoche. Due to health condition Bhakha Rinpoche will no longer be able to carve Mani Stones. Value: Priceless

This beautifully constructed pendant is the seed syllable of Vajrayogini and the essence of the female Buddhas. This pendant is beautifully constructed of sterling silver and suspended from a large tri-fold fluted bale. Approximately 1 inch.

Another fabulous piece in sterling silver measuring approximately 2 inches ling. The traditional three deity faces symbolizing the destruction of the afflictions of ignorance, desire and hatred grace the top of the phurba. The triangular blade emerges from the mouth of a detailed makara representing firmness and unshakeability.

This Dorje topped curved knife is also known as the “knife of the dakinis”. It is the symbol of cutting through ignorance and attachment to material things. Made of sterling silver and measures approximately 1 1/2 inch by 1 inch wide.

The diamond scepter symbolizes the diamond vehicle or sacred Vajrayana Buddhist path. Dorje in Tibetan means “the lord of stones”, the stone that cannot be cut or broken. One of the best Kalachakra pendants you will ever find! Highly detailed with an articulated tri-fold fluted bale. The ten syllables of the mantra are in gently raised relief on the back of the pendant. This is a substantial piece weighing 8 grams and measuring approximately 1 1/2 inch including the bale by just under 1 inch wide.

This exquisite pendant is highly detailed and at this time production of this piece is suspended. The expression on Guru Rinpoche’s face is beautiful and life like.
